Compare was launched in 2008, and since then we have been a thriving business in the UK SME market. We have developed valued relationships and partnerships with the UK’s leading insurers to make sure our clients are receiving the most competitive premiums with correct cover levels tailored to each client’s business needs.
Our team of experienced, qualified, friendly and professional executives put all customers at the heart of our business and are committed to providing a world class service to our customers. We provide our employees with training and development, and encourage all staff to complete industry recognised qualifications in a number of sectors from insurance, customer service and/or management exams and workshops.
We are firm believers in looking after our employees, and make this our number one priority. Without our Compare team members, we wouldn’t be able to provide such an excellent service, nor would be able to look after our customers as we currently do. Each staff member is valued greatly and plays a role in our business success.
It is our role to make sure you have the correct cover in place, remove any worries you have and make sure you have the necessary insurance policies in place to enable you to run your business successfully and smoothly, while being fully protected and legal.

Who runs things at Compare Insurance?
Mark Thomas – founded Compare Insurance in 2008 with the aim to create a completely independent insurance brokerage where the client is at the heart of everything they do. Our continued success has allowed the company to grow and now employs a team approaching 30. We’re very proud to have been recognised by the Welsh Assembly as one of the top businesses within the finance sector in Wales.
Having previously grown two start-ups to million pound enterprises, Mark has accumulated a vast amount of experience in running successful businesses.
Responsible for driving the business forward, Mark’s aim for Compare Insurance is to continue providing the highest levels of customer service, combined with the latest technology to surpass the customers’ expectations of what a modern insurance broker should be.

Fundraising and charity work
Helping others and charity work is important to us at Compare Insurance. We often undertake charity fun days in the office, take part in charity runs and events, and our next challenge is to take on the Three Peaks in less than 24 hours in May 2018!
